These letters were on sale at Michael’s for 99 cent each!! What What!! They were marked down from $3 so there was no way I could pass on these. They didn’t have many letters left but I did manage to snag two “X”s and “O”s. Perfect since Valentine’s Day would soon be upon us!

 

Here’s how I gave them a little V-Day makeover using some craft paint, Mod Podge, card stock, and the Cricut!

First thing I did was paint each letter this pretty light pink color.

While they were drying I selected some red card stock from my collection and cut out some sexy lips on the Cricut Explore.

After deciding the placement of the lip cutouts I applied them to the canvas letters with a good coat of Mod Podge. Then finished with a coat of Mod Podge on top! And there you have it. This was a quick and easy project to add some cute V-day decor to your life!
