Fall Wreath Tutorial

This was my go at  the Michael’s Fall Wreath. The wooden monogram is so adorable and I just loved the colors they chose for it!

Fall Wreath DIY

Supplies:

  • Ashland® Premade Half Grapevine Wreath
  • Celebrate It™ Wood Wreath- “L”
  • Craftsmart Multi-Surface Premium Chalky Acrylic Paint- Camouflage
  • Craftsmart Multi-Surface Premium Chalky Acrylic Paint- Ground Cinnamon
  • Foam Brush
  • wire

Step One:

Paint the initial wood wreath with the green paint. Let dry. After the first coat was dry I decided to do a second coat.

Step 1 - Green base

Step Two:

Paint the edges of the wood wreath and initial with the gold paint. Let dry.

Step 2 - Gold Accent

Step Three:

Lay the painted wood wreath on top of the grapevine wreath and fasten it into place with a bit of wire.

Step Four:

To add the accent leaves and pumpkins I cut two Fall décor candle rings in half and arranged them to my liking on top of the grapevine wreath and wood wreath. After much debt I decided I liked the fullness of just one and a half pieces of the candle rings. I used a hot glue gun to adhere them to the wreath.

Here is my final product and I love it! You can see it in action in the Fall Decorating post. Thanks for reading!
